Gates U Value Engineering / Value Analysis
For more advanced sales team members or fluid power specialists, the VE/VA workshop engages the participants’ skills in sales and hydraulics through intensive customer based simulation. Teams compete for the business of a fictitious OEM in this multi-day sales and hands-on hydraulic fabrication simulation.
Participants will build skills and knowledge including but not limited to:
- The overall function of Gates hydraulic products and how they apply to hydraulic systems on unique pieces of equipment
- The value-added benefits Gates hydraulic products offer to OE customers
- The principles and benefits of VE/VA
- Leading the sales conversation with insights, metrics and a tailored approach
- Developing and delivering a value based presentation to win the business
